On September 18, 2025, the first Mindstone Meetup was held in Sarajevo at the Homework Hub, bringing together a large number of enthusiasts and professionals interested in the world of artificial intelligence and its practical applications.
Mindstone is a company that develops and promotes projects in the field of artificial intelligence, and after successful meetups in cities such as London, Malaga, Madrid, Athens, Houston, Barcelona, and Lisbon, they came to Sarajevo where, in collaboration with the local AI community and enthusiasts, they created a space for exploring current topics, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and connecting experts and technology lovers.
The speakers at the first meetup were Ajla Karajko, Stefano Piano, and Andrej Kaurin, covering three topics:
- What Does The Future Look Like With AI?
- How To Be More Productive Using AI
- What I Learned Building With LLMs
Ajla Karajko opened the event with a talk on utopian and dystopian scenarios of artificial intelligence development, highlighting where AI stands today and what potential positive and negative consequences its growth might bring.
Stefano Piano demonstrated how, with the help of large language models, a simple transcript can be turned into a visually engaging presentation, showcasing practical ways AI can streamline business processes and boost productivity.
Andrej Kaurin gave a live demonstration of building private AI assistants capable of scheduling meetings, tracking task lists, integrating with calendars, and responding to emails, offering insight into the tangible opportunities AI applications can provide for companies and individuals.
