Figure 03 launch: what we know

California-based startup Figure today unveiled its humanoid robot Figure 03, accompanied by a teaser video showcasing interchangeable fabric “skins,” articulated feet, and advanced hands equipped with touch sensors and built-in cameras.

In the video, Figure 03 appears in at least five different outfits—suggesting that even robots now have wardrobes. Its Helix AI platform integrates vision, language, and movement to handle everyday tasks such as folding laundry or using a washing machine.

The new high-capacity torso battery enables up to five hours of operation, while inductive charging in the feet allows wireless “on-the-go” recharging. CEO Brett Adcock also revealed that Figure 02 has been working on BMW’s X3 production line for five months, up to ten hours per day.

What sets this model apart is not just its movements but also its design—interchangeable fabrics and realistic forms indicate that Figure is targeting living spaces, not just factories.
