The second meeting of the “Science over Coffee” initiative gathered an even larger number of participants, confirming that there is a clear need in our society for open and accessible conversations about science, technology, and their application in everyday life.

In the pleasant setting of Club Špica, with an informal atmosphere and interactive exchanges, we discussed the topic “Smart Algorithms, Smart Decisions: How AI Is Changing the Face of Business”, presented by Dr. Lemana Spahić, an expert in the application of artificial intelligence and predictive algorithms in the business and healthcare sectors.

Through a dynamic lecture and open dialogue, we touched on key questions:

• How can domestic companies start implementing AI?
• How can we use the data we already have, and how do we obtain the data we are missing?
• Can viable business solutions be developed from existing resources?
• Where does Bosnia and Herzegovina stand on the AI map today, and where could it be tomorrow?

The audience actively participated, sharing their experiences, dilemmas, and ideas, and the atmosphere once again showed that this format brings complex topics closer to the wider community and opens space for new perspectives on the future.
