On January 21, 2026, a professional conference titled “Artificial Intelligence and Educational Policy in BiH: Practical Models, Regulation, and Guidelines for Coordinated Implementation” was held at the Hills Hotel in Sarajevo, bringing together representatives from 14 ministries, as well as teachers and professors from across Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The keynote speaker of the conference was Ajla Karajko, AI consultant and PhD candidate, who in her presentation discussed the role of artificial intelligence in the education system, with a special focus on practical models, regulation, and guidelines for coordinated implementation. She particularly emphasized how AI can support learning, research, and skill development for both students and teachers, while highlighting the importance of ethical and responsible use of digital tools in education.
Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with examples of best practices and the challenges of implementing AI technologies in schools and universities, as well as to exchange experiences and ideas for future coordination of educational policy in line with contemporary technological trends.
