AI Adoption in BiH: Slow but Inevitable
Ajla Karajko highlighted that companies in BiH are adopting AI much more slowly than global trends demand. While some sectors were forced into digitalization, many small and medium-sized businesses still lack clear AI strategies. Based on her experience, the fear of artificial intelligence mostly stems from a lack of understanding, and almost every company goes through the same pattern—doubt before implementation and a completely different perspective after AI demonstrates its benefits.
Retail at the Crossroads of the Biggest Transformation of the Last Decade
Karajko emphasizes that retail is in a period that requires rapid adaptation. Consumers today expect speed, simplicity, and hyper-personalization, while digital payments, fintech solutions, and advanced data have become the standard. The arrival of major global chains raises the bar even higher and accelerates the modernization of the local market.
